Seeds: Keep the seeds cool (ideally, below 50 degrees) Humidity and warmth shorten a seed's shelf life, so the refrigerator is generally the best place to store seeds.
Seeds in good condition and stored properly will last at least one year and, depending on the plant, may last two to five years.
Once planted: Do not over water. When the first young seedlings poke their heads out of the soil, they should be watered sparingly but frequently at the base. It is best to water the plants in the evening when evaporation is lowest. Use the fine sprinkler in the set.
